American rock band The Pretty Reckless have released “Love Me,” the third single from their upcoming fifth studio album Dear God, set for release on June 26, 2026 via Fearless Records.
The track arrives as the band prepares to embark on their 2026 headlining world tour, marking a significant moment in their current creative cycle. “Love Me” continues the trajectory established by previous singles, emphasizing emotional intensity while maintaining the band’s signature guitar-driven foundation.
Produced by Taylor Momsen alongside guitarist Ben Phillips and Jonathan Wyman, the track blends dense instrumentation with a direct and unfiltered vocal performance. The result is a composition that balances melodic structure with emotional weight, reinforcing the more introspective direction of the new material.
Thematically, “Love Me” stands as one of the album’s most exposed moments. Taylor Momsen describes the song as emerging from a place of personal difficulty, reflecting a state where emotional emptiness leads to a search not for happiness, but for acknowledgment. Rather than resolving that tension, the track presents it in its raw form, without compromise.
This approach aligns with the broader direction of Dear God, an album built around a more honest and less stylized narrative. Following the release of “When I Wake Up,” which has charted on active rock formats, “Love Me” expands the emotional scope of the record with a sharper and more unfiltered tone.
