DEVILDRIVER announce new album “Strike And Kill”

DevilDriver will release “Strike And Kill” on July 10, marking a return to a more direct and aggressive sound.

American groove metal band DevilDriver have announced their eleventh studio album, Strike And Kill, set for release on July 10, 2026 via Napalm Records.

The record arrives alongside a revamped lineup featuring guitarists Alex Lee and Gabe Mangold, drummer Davier Ortega Perez, and the return of founding bassist Jon Miller, signaling a new internal phase for the band.

As a first preview, DevilDriver have released “Dig Your Own Grave,” a blistering opening track built on rapid-fire riffs and direct execution, with lyrics centered on consequence and accountability. Frontman Dez Fafara makes it clear that his mindset remains unchanged, emphasizing that there is no softness or complacency in either his worldview or his music, framing the album as a deliberate return to fundamentals both musically and lyrically.

Within that framework, Fafara explains that “Dig Your Own Grave” focuses on how a single decision can completely alter a person’s life, highlighting personal responsibility and the ripple effect actions can have on others. The track approaches this theme without compromise, reinforcing the album’s confrontational tone.

Musically, Strike And Kill leans into DevilDriver’s signature groove metal foundation with a more stripped-down and immediate approach. The production favors impact over excess, placing riffs and percussion at the forefront.
