Ozzy Osbourne to receive AI-powered digital version as Sharon and Jack Osbourne unveil Hyperreal partnership

The Osbourne family confirmed a partnership with Hyperreal to create a fully interactive AI-powered digital version of Ozzy Osbourne using his voice, image and movements.

Ozzy Osbourne may officially become one of the first heavy metal legends to exist permanently in digital form through advanced artificial intelligence technology. During Licensing Expo 2026 in Las Vegas, Sharon Osbourne and Jack Osbourne confirmed that the family partnered with tech company Hyperreal to create the complete “digital DNA” of the legendary Black Sabbath frontman.

The project aims to replicate Ozzy’s voice, image, expressions and body movement using hyperrealistic AI systems capable of interacting directly with fans worldwide.

According to Jack Osbourne, the technology has already evolved to a point where a digital version of Ozzy could realistically appear in virtually any multimedia environment imaginable. “We’re creating the digital DNA of Ozzy — voice, image and movement,” Jack explained during the panel held at Mandalay Bay Convention Center. “The possibilities for what you can do with that are endless.”

Meanwhile, Sharon Osbourne emphasized that the project goes far beyond visual recreations and instead aims to deliver a fully interactive fan experience. “You can ask Ozzy anything, and he will answer you in his own voice — and the answers will be what Ozzy would have said,” Sharon explained. “We’re going to take it all around the world. People can talk to him and he will talk back.”

Tech company Hyperreal, which specializes in digital identity recreation and monetization across virtual ecosystems, previously worked with figures such as Paul McCartney, Mike Tyson, The Notorious B.I.G., and even an AI-powered holographic version of late Marvel creator Stan Lee, showcased during Los Angeles Comic Con.

According to Jack Osbourne, the realism achieved by the technology is almost unsettling. “It’s scary how accurate it really is,” he stated. “Ozzy will exist digitally as himself for as long as we have computers.”

The panel at Licensing Expo 2026 was titled “The Enduring Legacy Of A Rock Icon And His Family: Ozzy Osbourne And The Osbournes”, moderated by representatives from Global Merchandising Services, the company currently expanding the commercial and licensing universe surrounding the British icon.
