The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has officially announced the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2027, recognizing Linkin Park, Ramones, The Smashing Pumpkins, Karol G, David Guetta, Lil Wayne, Sia, Grandmaster Flash, and Waylon Jennings, among other artists whose work has left a lasting mark on the entertainment industry.
The honorees were selected from hundreds of nominations by the Walk of Fame Selection Committee during a meeting held on May 15, 2026. The selections were later ratified by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors on July 22, 2026, before being officially announced during a live press conference at Funko Hollywood on Hollywood Boulevard.
Peter Roth, chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, highlighted the significance of this year's honorees.
"The Walk Of Fame Selection Committee is proud to welcome the Class of 2027 to one of the most enduring symbols of achievement in entertainment. These 32 extraordinary individuals have each made a lasting impact on audiences around the world through their talent, creativity, and dedication to their craft. We are honored to recognize their remarkable contributions and look forward to celebrating them as they take their place in Hollywood history."
In the Recording category, one of the most closely followed by the music industry, this year's honorees include Karol G, David Guetta, Waylon Jennings (posthumously), Ramones, Joseph Saddler (Grandmaster Flash), Marc Shaiman, Sia, The Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, and Lil Wayne.
For Linkin Park, the honor marks another milestone during a period of renewed international momentum. Following the band's return to the stage and the release of new music, the group now adds one of the entertainment industry's highest distinctions, further cementing the legacy it has built over more than two decades.
For Ramones, the star recognizes the enduring influence of one of the most important bands in punk rock history. Formed in New York City during the 1970s, the group reshaped rock music with its stripped-down sound and aesthetic, inspiring generations of artists around the world.
The Smashing Pumpkins will also be immortalized on Hollywood Boulevard after a career that produced some of alternative rock's defining albums, while David Guetta, Sia, Karol G, and Lil Wayne represent some of the most influential figures in contemporary music.
Beyond the Recording category, the Class of 2027 also includes film honorees Cheech & Chong, Idris Elba, Sam Elliott, Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Kate Hudson, Delroy Lindo, Sam Rockwell, and Ted Sarandos.
In television, the new honorees are Lisa Kudrow, Pedro Pascal, Adam Scott, Keke Palmer, Raven-Symoné, David Alan Grier, Bill Lawrence, and Jeff Probst. Nicole Scherzinger, Jo Koy, and Roberto Bolle were selected in the Live Theatre/Live Performance category, while Jimmie Johnson will receive a star in Sports Entertainment and Charlamagne Tha God in Radio.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce confirmed that no ceremony dates have been scheduled yet. Each recipient has two years from the date of selection to schedule a star ceremony before the honor expires. Official ceremony dates are typically announced ten days before each dedication through the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
