SUZU will officially graduate from BABYBEARD on September 7, 2026, bringing her six-year run as an original member of the Japanese group to an end.
BABYBEARD announced the decision on September 2, explaining that it followed extensive discussions between SUZU, the other members and management. According to the statement, graduation was ultimately considered the best decision in support of SUZU’s future goals and aspirations.
In her own message, SUZU reflected on joining the project in 2020 while she was still a student. She described becoming an idol as a childhood dream and thanked the fans, her family and everyone who supported her throughout the past six years.
SUZU also acknowledged that her journey was not always easy, but said her time with BABYBEARD gave her experiences and connections she would never have encountered otherwise. She plans to spend her remaining days with the group making as many memories with fans as possible.
BABYBEARD will continue immediately following her departure. Beginning September 8, the group will operate as a three-member lineup consisting of MINA, MIZUKI and Ladybeard.
The group has confirmed that its activities will continue under the new formation as BABYBEARD enters its next chapter.
