GHOST has officially released the first trailer for 2 Big To Rig, the band's second collaboration with Trafalgar Releasing. The feature-length concert film documents GHOST's historic performances at Palacio de los Deportes in September 2025 and will arrive in cinemas and IMAX worldwide beginning August 26 for a limited theatrical run.
Filmed entirely on 16mm, 2 Big To Rig captures the band's two sold-out Mexico City performances, where nearly 40,000 fans witnessed the closing nights of the first leg of the Skeletour, the world tour supporting Skeletá, GHOST's 2025 chart-topping album.
Unlike Rite Here Rite Now (2024), which blended a fictional storyline with live performances, 2 Big To Rig focuses exclusively on the live ritual that has made GHOST one of the most acclaimed theatrical acts in modern rock. Alongside the concert footage, the film includes behind-the-scenes moments highlighting the crew responsible for bringing the band's elaborate production to life, as well as the only professionally filmed footage of Papa V Perpetua and the Nameless Ghouls from the band's entire phone-free tour.
The title 2 Big To Rig references the conclusion of the Skeletour, which ended in February 2026 after 70 performances across North America, Europe, and Mexico. According to the band, the film was created to share the full Skeletour experience with fans in territories where staging the production was not logistically possible, while also honoring the Mexico City audience affected by the cancellation of the first of three originally scheduled concerts due to illness.
Conceived as a love letter to the faithful, the concert film showcases performances spanning all six GHOST studio albums, including material from Skeletá, alongside fan favorites such as "Mary On A Cross," "Kiss The Go-Goat," and "The Future Is A Foreign Land."
Kymberli Frueh, Executive Vice President of Content Acquisitions and Programming at Trafalgar Releasing, said:
"GHOST captured the final nights of the legendary Skeletour's first leg on 16mm film in Mexico City — creating a nostalgic experience and a fitting farewell to an era for fans. We're proud to share it with cinema audiences worldwide before GHOST takes a well-publicized break. It's the perfect way to close such a significant chapter in the band's history and give fans a chance to relive this moment together."

Tickets for 2 Big To Rig are now officially on sale ahead of its August 26 worldwide theatrical release.
The film arrives as GHOST closes one of the most successful periods in its career. While the Skeletour visited North America, Europe, and Mexico between 2025 and 2026, three North American dates scheduled for Knoxville, Charlotte, and Greenville were canceled in January after states of emergency were declared because of severe weather.
