The Warning Ego

THE WARNING releases new single, ‘Ego’

The Warning released “Ego,” a brand-new Spanish-language single showcasing the Mexican trio’s most aggressive and confrontational sound yet.

The Warning continue proving why they are one of modern rock’s fastest-rising bands with the release of “Ego”, a brand-new Spanish-language single that pushes the Monterrey trio into heavier, darker and more confrontational territory.

Released through Lava/Republic Records, the track arrived alongside an intense official music video that premiered across MTV Live, mtvU and the massive Paramount Times Square billboards in New York, further highlighting the band’s growing international momentum.s

From the very first seconds, “Ego” makes its intentions clear. The song explodes with aggressive guitar work, razor-sharp riffs and nonstop momentum that never lets up. At the center of it all is Paulina Villarreal, delivering some of the most visceral screams and emotionally charged vocal performances the band has ever captured in the studio.

“We loved shooting ‘Ego.’ This music video is all about reclaiming your power, embracing confidence, and standing tall in your identity… even when the world is watching,” the band explained. “It’s always so special for us to release music in our first language, Spanish, and we hope you love this song and video as much as we do.”

“Ego” follows the release of “Kerosene,” another aggressive anthem that hinted at a heavier sonic direction for The Warning. Together, both songs suggest that the band is continuing to evolve toward a more explosive sound without abandoning the melodic identity that originally helped them break through internationally.

At the same time, the trio will headline one of the biggest shows of their career so far with a major performance at Pier 17 in New York City on June 11, another milestone in the band’s rapid international growth.
