Both Mike Patton performances in Mexico with MONDO CANE have officially sold out.
The concerts, scheduled for October 1 at Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City and October 3 at the Explanada de la Alhóndiga de Granaditas in Guanajuato, will take place before capacity crowds.
The Mexican dates mark a rare opportunity to experience MONDO CANE, Patton's project dedicated to reinterpreting classic Italian popular songs from the 1950s and 1960s. Originally released in 2010 through Ipecac Recordings, the project has only been performed live on select occasions.
Featuring a large ensemble and orchestral arrangements, MONDO CANE showcases a different side of Patton's musical career, far removed from his work with Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, and Fantômas.
