The session will take place at El Sindicato Centro Cultural Comunitario, located at Recreo #4 in Zona Centro, with admission priced at 400 Mexican pesos. The format will include a drum demonstration, conversation with Nekrutman and a meet & greet, providing a rare opportunity to examine the technique and approach of one of the most prominent young drummers currently working in international metal.

The event marks the fourth edition of the masterclass series organized by Flores Drum & Percussion Lessons and arrives at a particularly significant point in Nekrutman’s career. The American musician currently performs with Sepultura alongside Andreas Kisser, Derrick Green and Paulo Jr. during the Brazilian metal veterans’ final chapter.

Nekrutman officially joined Sepultura in 2024, when he was recruited to replace Eloy Casagrande for the Celebrating Life Through Death farewell tour. Before joining the Brazilian band, he had performed with Suicidal Tendencies, though his musical identity had developed much earlier through extensive training in jazz and big-band drumming.

That background remains one of the defining elements of his playing. Nekrutman began studying drums as a child and built a vocabulary heavily informed by historic jazz drummers before applying that foundation to considerably heavier settings. His ability to move between precision, speed, improvisation and sheer power eventually took him from drum clinics and specialist performance content to major international metal stages.
