The drummer shared the news through social media, where he reflected on his time with the band and expressed gratitude for the experiences he gained during his years as a member.

“After 8 years I have decided to leave The Amity Affliction. I feel extremely grateful and fortunate to have spent those years with the band. I wish Johnny, Dan and Joel along with the crew nothing but the very best moving forward. It's been an incredible journey. Thank you all for the love. See you out there.”

As of this writing, THE AMITY AFFLICTION has not issued an official statement regarding Longobardi's departure and has not announced a replacement drummer.
