“We decided to release this EP to celebrate the 40th anniversary of 'The Shining', one of the most influential horror movies of all time. As a lifelong horror fanatic, I was thrilled when we were able to enlist the help of Stanley Kubrick's grandson, Sam as a special guest on our new song, 'Enjoy Your Slay,' and we were even more excited when the Stanley Hotel invited us to Perform in their infamous ballroom for this special, intimate event, plus sold-out tickets.
The highlight for me was seeing the real room 237 (217 in the book), the setting for one of the scariest scenes in the entire movie. We obtained information from an employee who told us that while they were filming 'Dumb and Dumber', which was also filmed at the Stanley Hotel, Jim Carey insisted on staying in that room, but was so scared that he better leave it. ”
