Don Broco has officially released its new album Nightmare Tripping, marking a new chapter in its sonic evolution. Alongside the release, the band unveiled the video for “True Believers”, featuring Sam Carter of Architects.
The track stands out as one of the album’s most powerful moments, blending heavy riffs with melodic elements and production that incorporates nu-metal, pop, and R&B influences. The vocal dynamic shifts between aggressive passages and more atmospheric sections, reinforcing the band’s hybrid identity.
Lyrically, vocalist Rob Damiani addresses a direct and critical theme: “In recent years, it’s been impossible to ignore the rise of the far right across Europe and the United States… This song is about the brainwashing that’s led to this, questioning the narratives we’ve grown up with.”
The song reflects the contrast between patriotism and radical nationalism, exploring how certain narratives have evolved into more extreme ideologies.
Regarding the collaboration, Damiani added: “We’ve been fans of Architects for a long time. The energy and aggression he brings to his vocals are unmatched. As a human being, he has used his voice to stand up for what’s right, so this collaboration was very special.”
The album also includes previously released tracks such as “Euphoria,” “Cellophane,” “Hype Man,” and “Disappear,” shaping a record that blends sonic intensity with a socially conscious narrative.
