Mexican band Carrion Kids, one of the most insane and intense projects in psychedelic punk, has released the music video for their new single "Cabeza," which will be part of their upcoming album "Conducta Alarmante," produced by Julian Lede (Silverio). The track was recorded at MonkeyBee Records and mixed by Arturo H Jaramillo.
The music video proposes a ritual journey through life, guilt, and death. Inspired by the story of a man haunted by a second face that resides on the back of his head—a presence that speaks, laughs, and ultimately leads him to a tragic end—it presents a traditional Aztec cleansing ritual and a mass dedicated to Santa Muerte as two opposing yet complementary rites: the search for healing and the acceptance of fate.
Between smoke, copal, candles and landscapes loaded with mysticism, the video explores the duality between body and mind, faith and fear, turning the song into an intense, spiritual and deeply disturbing visual experience.
