She Past Away has announced eight shows in the United States and Mexico for June 2027, with a change to its stage lineup: Volkan Caner and Doruk Öztürkcan will perform alongside a bassist. The “Mizantrop Tour 2027” begins on June 1 in Boston and ends on June 16 in Mexico City. It will give North American audiences their first opportunity to see the Turkish project as a live trio, on a run that will also introduce a new video production.
The itinerary opens at Royale, followed by Brooklyn Steel in New York and Metro in Chicago. After an appearance at Ritual Noize Fest in Denver, the band heads to the West Coast for performances at The Showbox in Seattle, The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco and The Wiltern in Los Angeles. The final show takes place at Auditorio Blackberry in the Mexican capital. General ticket sales are announced for October 16, 2026.
The tour continues the promotion of “Mizantrop”, the band’s fourth studio album, released in 2026 and available on vinyl and CD through Metropolis Records. It is the first full-length of new songs since 2019’s “Disko Anksiyete”, following a period in which the group remained active through concerts, remixes and other recordings. The June dates will bring that repertoire to North America after this year’s extensive international schedule.
The project began taking shape in Bursa, Turkey, in 2006, around Caner’s songs. Guitars provided the starting point for a sound that grew to include synthesizers and electronic rhythms, drawing on early-1980s post-punk and gothic rock. Concise lyrics in the musicians’ native language became part of that combination, without a switch to English to accompany their international expansion.
