Aerosmith to return with Slash, Run-DMC, Heart and more for two Hollywood Bowl shows

Aerosmith will return to the stage for two Hollywood Bowl celebrations featuring an extensive cast of guests from rock, metal, hip-hop and country.

Aerosmith will return to the stage for two special concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 29 and November 1, 2026. Billed as California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends, the shows will surround the band with musicians from rock, metal, hip-hop and country while celebrating more than five decades of Aerosmith’s music.

Aerosmith officially retired from touring in August 2024 after Steven Tyler was unable to fully recover from the vocal injury he suffered during a September 2023 performance. These Hollywood Bowl dates have not been presented as the beginning of another tour, but as two standalone events.

The guest list is extensive. The Black Crowes, Run-DMC, Heart, Billy Idol, Sammy Hagar, Slash, Duff McKagan, Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez, Chad Smith, Tom Morello, Nuno Bettencourt, Sully Erna, Eric Church, Marcus King, Andrew Watt, Pat Monahan and Steve Stevens are among the artists announced so far. Adam Wakeman, Audley Freed and Kenny Aronoff are also involved, with Don Was serving as music director for both nights.

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, October 8 at 10 a.m. PDT through Friday, October 9 at 10 a.m. PDT. Additional presales will follow before the general on-sale Saturday, October 10 at 10 a.m. PDT.

VIP upgrades will also be available, with selected packages including access to an Aerosmith VIP Lounge, early venue entry, a limited-edition jacket and an exclusive T-shirt.
