Bullet For My Valentine will release their eighth studio album, Social Apocalypse, on March 19, 2027 via Spinefarm. The Welsh band unveiled the record on September 24 alongside its title track, their first new music in four years and the beginning of a new era following their 2021 self-titled album.
“Social Apocalypse” arrives with a video directed, shot and edited by Chris Wade of Dogbrain Videos. Musically, the song retains the mixture of metal riffs, melody and aggression that has defined much of Bullet For My Valentine’s career, while Matt Tuck addresses a sense of social deterioration that also runs through the rest of the album.
Tuck explained that the concept grew from watching how quickly the world is changing and how difficult it can be to find optimism amid conflict and polarization. As a father, he added, he has also thought about the differences between the world he grew up in and the one younger generations now face. Those concerns sit alongside a more personal perspective on what it feels like to live within that environment.
Social Apocalypse reunites Bullet For My Valentine with Carl Bown, who has worked on four of the band’s albums and also has credits with Sleep Token, While She Sleeps and Malevolence. According to Tuck, Bown again took an active role during production, challenging decisions and pushing the band to continue refining each track rather than settling too quickly.
The album contains 10 tracks and features two guest appearances, something relatively uncommon in Bullet For My Valentine’s catalog. Against The Current vocalist Chrissy Costanza joins the band on “In The Absence Of You,” while Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos appears on “I Don't Trust Tomorrow.”

Pre-orders have opened with a hand-numbered white-label first pressing, available exclusively through the band’s store for 72 hours. A wider selection will follow on September 28, including standard and deluxe vinyl variants and a signed CD edition.
The announcement also comes with a new UK and European arena tour running through January and February 2027. Pendulum will appear as special guests at every show, with Dark Divine opening. The run includes Madrid on January 22, Barcelona on January 23 and London’s O2 Arena on February 26, all before the album arrives. Tickets go on sale September 30 at 9 a.m.
