Evanescence have released the official video for “Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough” on September 4, with director Eric Richter building the clip from footage captured during the North American leg of the band’s 2026 world tour. The track appears on their latest album, Sanctuary.
The song was co-written and produced by Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish, bringing together two producers who have played significant roles in contemporary heavy music. Cervini’s credits include Bad Omens, Spiritbox and Bring Me The Horizon, while Fish has recently worked with Poppy, Architects and House of Protection.
Lyrically, “Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough” deals with control and manipulation, focusing on the point where remaining on the path of least resistance is no longer enough. It fits the broader creative direction of Sanctuary, an album that saw Amy Lee and the band embrace a more collaborative writing process.
The video arrives on the same day as the double-vinyl release of Sanctuary. The 12-track album also features “Beautiful Lie,” “Who Will You Follow” and “Afterlife.”
Evanescence return to the road on September 8 in Leeds, launching the European leg of their 2026 world tour with Poppy, while K.Flay joins the U.K. dates.
