Ministry have released “We Hate,” the second single from Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), the American industrial band’s 17th and final studio album. Cleopatra Records will issue the record on October 30, 2026.
The song places Donald Trump back in Al Jourgensen’s crosshairs. For decades, the Ministry founder has used his music to confront American politics, propaganda, authoritarianism and systems of social control.
“We Hate” arrives with an official video directed by Joshua Bradford, a former Revolting Cocks member and longtime Jourgensen collaborator. The production satirizes Trump’s public image while responding to his frequent use of self-promotional artificial intelligence content.
The confrontation with Trump is not a new direction for Ministry. Jourgensen previously made his opposition to the Republican politician a central element of 2018’s AmeriKKKant. Earlier albums Rio Grande Blood and The Last Sucker directed much of their anger toward the administration of George W. Bush.
On Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), that political hostility expands into artificial intelligence, social media, technological concentration, disinformation and the wider condition of the United States.
The record began taking shape in Jourgensen’s home studio during 2025, with engineers Justin Leeah and Michael Rozon overseeing the sessions. The album features Ministry’s current lineup: guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’Amour, sampler and synth operator John Bechdel, and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.
The material also incorporates voices and characters developed through artificial intelligence tools. On “We Hate,” backing vocalist Badpenny von Eckardt assumes the role of a double-agent mercenary within the album’s technological narrative.
Jourgensen has been unambiguous about the finality of the record and has dismissed the possibility of another Ministry revival after the farewell cycle.
“I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done. It’s time to herd goats.”
The album will be available digitally and on CD, cassette and multiple vinyl variants. Cleopatra Records is also preparing deluxe box sets featuring picture discs, seven-inch records and green, black, silver and purple vinyl editions. Preorders are available through the label’s official store.
Ministry still have four United States appearances scheduled for 2026: Red Rocks in Colorado, Louder Than Life in Kentucky, The Salt Shed in Chicago and Sick New World Texas.
The international farewell will begin in April 2027 with the Goodbye Europe Tour, featuring Die Krupps as special guests. The 21-show itinerary includes stops in Utrecht, Manchester, London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki.
A full United States run will be announced later. Confirmed dates are available through Ministry’s official tour page.
Ministry began in Chicago in 1981 as a project connected with synth-pop and the Wax Trax! Records scene. Albums including Twitch, The Land of Rape and Honey, The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste and Psalm 69 subsequently transformed the group into one of industrial metal’s defining forces.
