Bon Jovi was forced to cut short its concert at Madison Square Garden on July 23 after frontman Jon Bon Jovi informed the audience that he was unable to continue performing because he was battling a sinus infection.
Roughly 90 minutes into the show, the singer addressed the crowd, apologizing for ending the performance early while asking fans to keep their ticket stubs as the band works on a possible solution.
Visibly shaken, but optimistic about a speedy recovery, Jon Bon Jovi asked attendees to hold on to their tickets while the band works on a solution.
"I haven't talked to anybody about anything, but don't throw away your ticket stubs. I'm going to figure something out, okay? Just hold on to them. We'll figure out how to reschedule. But I'm going to have to cool it for the night. I feel great. I'll see you again soon. Good night."

The incident comes only weeks after Bon Jovi returned to the stage on July 7, ending a four-year touring hiatus while Jon recovered from vocal cord surgery. The Forever Tour opened with the first of nine performances at Madison Square Garden.
Before the performance came to an end, Bon Jovi played classics including "It's My Life" and "Livin' On A Prayer", as well as newer songs from Forever (2024), such as "Legendary" and "Living Proof".
At the time of publication, the band has not officially announced whether the interrupted concert will be rescheduled. However, Jon Bon Jovi assured fans from the stage that the group intends to find a way to make up for the shortened performance.
