Córdoba’s music scene is once again putting a series of events on the calendar that bring together rock, heavy music, alternative sounds, psychedelia, nature and an independent spirit. Between December 2026 and February 2027, three festivals will draw different audiences to various parts of the province, with proposals ranging from large-scale gatherings to events directly connected to the independent circuit.
Festival MONTE will take place on December 4, 5 and 6, 2026, at Colonia Polaca de La Granja, in the Córdoba hills. The event will feature three days of outdoor music with bands connected to the independent, heavy, alternative and psychedelic scenes, along with areas designed for camping and enjoying the surrounding natural environment.
Passes include admission to all three days as well as access to the camping area, and are currently available through Alpogo.
Among the names drawing particular attention on the lineup are Rancixs Club, Chunkans and Proyectiles, three acts with distinct identities that form part of a program aimed at listeners looking to discover music beyond the most conventional and widely exposed circuits.
The activity will continue in February with a new edition of Cosquín Rock, scheduled for February 6 and 7, 2027, at the Santa María de Punilla Airfield. The festival will once again bring together a broad range of artists and generations in one of Argentina’s largest and most established music events.
Among the acts worth highlighting are La H No Murió, 2 Minutos and Búfalos Sedientos, three names with different histories, audiences and trajectories, but all closely tied to Argentine rock and some of its rawest, heaviest and most street-oriented expressions.
Also joining the calendar is Ver Nacer el Sol, which will once again turn the Alejandro Roca Municipal Beach into a meeting point for independent rock, camping and outdoor communal life. Over the course of its various editions, the festival has become one of the most recognizable events within Córdoba’s independent circuit.
The lineup for the upcoming edition has not yet been announced. Its full program is expected to be revealed soon, as anticipation continues to grow among those who closely follow the bands and projects shaping the province’s independent movement.
With different scales, identities and approaches, MONTE, Cosquín Rock and Ver Nacer el Sol form part of a festival season that will once again spread live music across several parts of Córdoba. From the hills of La Granja to Santa María de Punilla and Alejandro Roca, the province remains one of Argentina’s most active territories for rock, heavy music, alternative sounds and independent scenes.
