Quiet Riot, one of the most influential names in American hard rock and heavy metal, has announced its return to Latin America with the “Metal Health Latin American Tour 2027”, a multi-country run scheduled for April 2027 that will culminate with a special appearance at Bangers Open Air in São Paulo, Brazil.
Presented by Top Link Music, the tour will visit Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Brazil, bringing the band's classic catalog back to audiences across the continent while celebrating one of the most significant albums in heavy metal history.
The tour is built around the enduring legacy of Metal Health, the band's landmark 1983 album. The record made history by becoming the first heavy metal album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, helping pave the way for the genre’s commercial breakthrough throughout the 1980s.
More than forty years after its release, Metal Health remains one of the defining records of American hard rock, powered by songs that continue to resonate with audiences worldwide. Tracks such as “Cum On Feel The Noize”, “Metal Health (Bang Your Head)”, “Mama Weer All Crazee Now”, “Slick Black Cadillac”, and “The Wild and the Young” remain staples of the band's live performances and will form the backbone of the upcoming tour.
The current lineup features Rudy Sarzo on bass, Alex Grossi on guitar, Jizzy Pearl on vocals, and Johnny Kelly on drums. Sarzo's presence maintains a direct connection to Quiet Riot's classic era, as he was a key contributor during the period that transformed the band into one of the biggest names in hard rock.
