American metalcore band BOUNDARIES continue building anticipation for their upcoming studio album, Yearning: the unbeautiful after, with the release of "Only endless", the third single taken from a record scheduled to arrive on July 17 via Sumerian Records.

According to vocalist Matthew McDougal, most of the songs on the album are designed to challenge listeners and encourage self-reflection. However, "Only endless" takes a different approach. "Much of the record poses questions to listeners, probing if they identify with the sentiment of what's been said and why they do or don't. 'Only endless' doesn't ask anything of the listener. It describes a feeling. You can take what you will from it," explained the singer.

"With the record, we aimed to be uncompromising and really plant our flag. As more time passes, heavy music continues to lose its teeth. This genre is supposed to be threatening; it should have an edge and make you feel something. We tried to create an album with urgency," McDougal said.

In addition to "Only endless", the band previously released "Death will follow me" and "Skies cast amber black", two tracks that helped build momentum around the record and earned praise from several heavy music outlets.

The album will also feature notable guest appearances, including Landon Tewers of The Plot In You on "Crowned and crucified", as well as members of Make Them Suffer on "Torn wide open".

As the album release approaches, BOUNDARIES remain busy on the road. The band will launch a European tour on June 5, appearing at major festivals including Download Festival, Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Rock For People, Jera On Air, Impericon Festival and Vainstream Festival.

They will also share stages with The Plot In You, Kublai Khan TX, Bury Tomorrow, Malevolence and Heriot on select dates throughout the run.

Later in the year, BOUNDARIES will return to North America for a fall tour supporting Knocked Loose. The band is also scheduled to appear at major events such as Warped Tour in Long Beach, California, and Louder Than Life.
