After selling out two consecutive shows in Los Angeles, SLAYER confirmed that the celebration of 40 years of Reign In Blood will arrive in Latin America with a series of special performances across five countries, featuring the full performance of one of the most important albums in thrash metal history.
The tour will begin on October 21, 2026 in Mexico City and continue in December through Bogotá, Santiago, Chile, Buenos Aires and São Paulo, becoming one of the most important events for Latin American metal in recent years.
Originally released on October 7, 1986, Reign In Blood is considered by many musicians, critics and fans as one of the most influential albums ever recorded in extreme metal. With a runtime of barely 29 minutes, the record redefined the limits of speed, aggression and brutality in thrash metal thanks to songs such as "Angel of Death", "Piece by Piece", "Postmortem" and "Raining Blood".
Producido por Rick RubinProduced by Rick Rubin, the album became an essential reference point for later generations of thrash, death metal, black metal and extreme metal bands in general. Four decades after its release, the record remains one of the most influential works of all time.
The Latin American tour will also feature different special guests in each country. In Mexico City, SLAYER will be joined by Texas band Power Trip, one of the most important names in modern crossover thrash. In Bogotá, the bill will include Kreator and Ultra Legends; in Santiago, Chile, Kreator and Criminal; in Buenos Aires, Kreator and Avernal; while in São Paulo, Kreator will share the stage with Brazilian veterans Korzus.
