Australian band Northlane have independently released their new single “Evian”, marking another step in their evolving sound. The track merges trance-inspired elements with modern metal structures, shifting between atmospheric passages and high-intensity sections.
According to vocalist Marcus Bridge, the song explores confronting personal trauma as a path toward self-improvement, aiming to rebuild relationships from a healthier perspective. The narrative focuses on emotional accountability and the decision to grow without projecting struggles onto others.
The official video, directed by Colin Jeffs, visually reinforces the contrast between introspective moments and the track’s heavier segments.
The release of “Evian” aligns with an active touring schedule. The band will begin a North American run with Dayseeker on May 1, followed by appearances at European festivals including Bloodstock Festival, Summer Breeze Festival and Reload Festival, before returning to Australia for the Hellbound cruise event.
