Iron Maiden to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2026 alongside Phil Collins and Oasis

Iron Maiden will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2026 during a ceremony in Los Angeles on November 14.

Legendary British band Iron Maiden has been confirmed as part of the 2026 class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with the official ceremony scheduled for November 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The announcement places the band alongside several major names in this year’s class, including Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Joy Division / New Order, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan.

Longtime manager Rod Smallwood reacted to the recognition by emphasizing that Iron Maiden have always prioritized their relationship with fans over awards or industry accolades, while acknowledging that “it is always rewarding to be recognized and honored for achievements within the music industry.” He also noted that the induction comes at a significant moment, as the band continues celebrating its 50th anniversary with the Run For Your Lives World Tour, which includes dates across the Americas and beyond.

As part of the induction, former members who contributed to the band’s history will also be recognized, including Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Nicko McBrain, as well as figures from different eras such as Paul Di'Anno, Blaze Bayley, Clive Burr, Janick Gers and Dennis Stratton.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame requires artists to have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to eligibility, a criterion Iron Maiden comfortably meets after decades of sustained activity.
