Khemmis have announced their fifth studio album, Khemmis, set for release on June 12, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records, marking their first full-length since Deceiver (2021).
The album features eight tracks and presents a more direct and energetic approach while maintaining the band’s core sound rooted in doom and melodic heavy metal. Artwork was created by Christopher Remmers.
Guitarist and vocalist Ben Hutcherson described the record as a shift in intent: “We wanted a more immediate and energetic album that still reflects who we are, but also celebrates the joy of creating heavy music”.
The band has also released the lead single “Invocation of the Dreamer”, accompanied by a video directed by Frank Guerra. Hutcherson noted the track’s impact made it the obvious choice to introduce the album.
Khemmis will support the release with live performances, including a show with Acid Bath, followed by a headlining tour with Necrofier and Wretched, and additional dates with Monolord.
The album is currently available for pre-order, including a deluxe edition.
