Ecca Vandal has unveiled full details of her upcoming album LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW!, set for release on May 22 via Loma Vista Recordings, alongside her high-energy new single “SORRY! CRASH!”.
The track, previously featured in her live performances, blends drum machine beats with punk aggression and fuzzy bass tones, reinforcing her genre-blending style. It follows earlier 2026 single “BLEACH,” showcasing the diversity of her new material.
The album will feature 17 tracks and revolves around the theme of cutting ties with what drains energy and distorts perspective. Vandal described it as an empowering process of embracing loudness and self-expression.
The record was written and co-produced with Richie Buxton in a home studio in Melbourne, Australia, during nearly two years of isolated creativity, resulting in a more organic and experimental approach.
Vandal is also set to perform at Coachella Festival this month before joining Deftones on tour across Australia and New Zealand.
