Modern metal heavyweights Lamb of God have officially announced their new studio album, Into Oblivion, set for release on March 13, 2026. The record marks the band’s first full-length release in four years and signals a confident new phase in their evolution.
Consisting of ten tracks, Into Oblivion reflects Lamb of God’s deep roots while reinforcing the signature groove that has defined their sound for decades. At the same time, the album expands their approach, resulting in a body of work that feels both intentional and unrestrained, shaped by experience rather than expectation.
The album announcement arrives alongside the release of its title track, “Into Oblivion.” Aggressive and unyielding, the song pairs the band’s trademark musical intensity with psychologically charged lyrics. The accompanying video amplifies this mood, visually echoing themes of collapse, tension and confrontation.
Guitarist Mark Morton describes the album as a product of creative breathing room, free from trends or external pressure. Vocalist Randy Blythe adds that the album’s title reflects his stark view of the rapid erosion of social norms and values, particularly in contemporary American society.
Produced and mixed by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur, Into Oblivion was recorded across locations deeply tied to the band’s identity, including Richmond, Virginia and California’s legendary Total Access studio. The album stands as a powerful statement from a band with nothing left to prove and everything left to say.
