I PREVAIL has released “Paradise,” a new collaborative single featuring singer-songwriter Amira Elfeky, one of the emerging voices in American alternative rock and dark pop. The track combines metalcore, electronic production and atmospheric rock while allowing both artists to retain their distinct musical identities.
The song blends synthesizers, electronic programming and heavy guitars with an ongoing exchange between Amira Elfeky's melodic vocals and the clean and harsh vocal performances of Eric Vanlerberghe.
Speaking about the collaboration, the band said the project developed naturally from its admiration for Elfeky's work.
"We've been fans of Amira for a long time. She has such a distinct sound and style. The opportunity to write together happened very organically, and we immediately connected with the concept for the song. Everyone saw the vision almost instantly. That's something that rarely happens. I still don't think we fully understand exactly what we created. We never had to stop and overthink it. We simply made it."
Formed in Southfield, Michigan, in 2013, I PREVAIL first gained international attention with its cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" before establishing itself through albums including Lifelines (2016), Trauma (2019) and True Power (2022). The band's career also includes two Grammy Award nominations and multiple RIAA-certified singles.
