One of Finland's most striking emerging bands, Crownshift, is happy to announce the release date and details of their long-awaited debut album that will be released on May 10 at the release date via Nuclear Blast Records.
During this year, Crownshift released their first singles and videos, 'If You Dare' and 'A World Beyond Reach', which were received with great reviews by the press and fans. To increase the desire to receive the album in its entirety, today the band releases another catchy single accompanied by a more atmospheric video clip; 'My Prison'.
'My Prison' is a perfect example of what Crownshift's debut album offers, eight contemporary Melodic Death Metal anthems with a progressive cut and captivating choruses. The members of Crownshift are or have been involved in some of the most globally loved bands on the Finnish scene, including Nightwish, Children of Bodom > and Mygrain, and it shows. On their first album, Crownshift manages to combine their collective experiences and make a modern crossover metal masterpiece.
Crownshift will be performing live at many festivals across Europe, as well as playing an album release show on May 15 in Helsinki. Not many bands have been scheduled for festivals this big having released only one single, which speaks to the level and quality that Crownshift delivers.
