Just a few days ago, Hannes Grossmann announced his departure from Dark And now, the drummer has officially announced the launch of his new band, Alkaloid, along with his partner in Dark, Christian Münzner, the guitarist Danny Tunker [Aborted], bassist Linus Klausenitzer [Obscura, Noneuclid] and singer Florian Magnus Maier, who has collaborated with Paradise Lost, Davin Towsend and Dark Fortress.
“Tan tristemente como las cosas se tornaron en Dark, I am very happy that the songs that initially Christian [Münzner] and I wrote for the new album, they have found a new home in Alkaloid. Por otro lado, yo no veo a Alkaloid como una banda de ‘tech-death’ porque no lo somos. The band barely started recording their debut album, which will be released sometime in 2015.
