“Lo nuevo de Slipknot, es realmente pesado” – Corey Taylor

At this point, it is no longer a surprise to anyone, that Slipknot is working on his next material.

Corey Taylor, in a recent interview with Bass Player LIVE! Concert and Awards Show in Los Angeles, California, on November 9, has made it clear that the band is working on the album that will follow All Hope is Gone [2008], that they are already reunited and that fans of The band must be very excited about it.

"We are testing a few demos together right now and we look forward to entering the recording studio in the summer of next year." He says. “So very soon we will have new things to show people. It is very heavy. I mean what I've been working on as a test and what I've been doing with Joey -Jordison-. It is like "Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses) meet Iowa" It is really dark, but there is something very good esoteric too. Many good melodies, but without neglecting the heavy part. It will be awesome."

Slipknot would be appearing in Mexico in 2014. The exact date or any other additional information is not yet known.
