SAOSIN announce 20th anniversary North American tour for debut album

SAOSIN announced a special North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album.

SAOSIN have officially announced a special North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, originally released in 2006 and widely regarded as one of the defining records of modern post-hardcore and emo.

The tour will begin on October 23 and will feature support from Silent Planet, Like Moths To Flames and Save Us.

Upon release, Saosin reached No. 22 on the Billboard 200 and produced standout tracks such as “Voices,” “Bury Your Head” and “You’re Not Alone.” The album has now officially earned Gold certification from the RIAA, further reinforcing its long-lasting influence across the genre.

Guitarist Beau Burchell reflected on the record’s legacy by explaining that the band did not fully understand the impact the album would eventually have while making it, as they were simply focused on creating the best music possible at the time.

Vocalist Cove Reber added that the record defined an important chapter of his life and emphasized how the songs now carry a different emotional weight for both the band and the fans who grew up alongside them.

The anniversary run also arrives during a renewed chapter for SAOSIN following their recent signing with Sumerian Records and the release of “Starting Over Again,” the band’s first new music in over a decade and their first release in 14 years featuring the return of Cove Reber.

The current lineup includes Beau Burchell, Phil Sgrosso, Chris Sorenson and Alex Rodriguez.
