New Wave Kill releases video, 'Your Way'

The Goth – Post Punk quartet based in Madrid, New Wave Kill, surprises again with the premiere of a new single: Your Way. This leaves Post Punk aside to show the other side of the group: a mature song, with a voice where the bass of the singer Felipe predominates, adorned with the accompaniment of beautiful acoustic guitars covered by a violin to emphasize the drama of the song. New Wave Kill show their Neo Folk and Dark Americana roots and capture them in an official cinematic video with a western theme directed by Juan A. Rosand Marta Ribate.

“Your Way is a topic that arose from a conversation with a close friend who inspired me a lot. It was composed in the same afternoon and took shape when we went to record it in the studio. The song is a trip to the past, a way to remember those moments when one feels alive and is enjoying the moment. What the song wants to convey is how these memories can be a source of inspiration and in turn give you the strength you need in difficult moments," says Felipe Vein.

Drawing from groups and artists such as The Smiths, Chelsea Wolfe or Joy Division, New Wave Kill are preparing what will be their debut album whose release is scheduled for early autumn 2024. Post Punk and Neo Folk come together to see the birth of one of the great promises of this genre and one of the most original and fresh voices that will be found in the current panorama of alternative music.

The band already released two singles in 2022 that marked the group's starting signal: Cold Night and Maze Of The Devil and in 2023 they surprised the scene by releasing Between Shadows, letter of presentation of the debut album that has positioned them as the candidates to lead the new Post Punk wave.
