La banda estadounidense reveló los primeros detalles de Legacy, un álbum que coincide con el vigésimo aniversario de su trayectoria.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Announces New Album 'Legacy'

The American metal band has revealed the first details of Legacy, an album arriving during its twentieth anniversary year.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will release its tenth studio album, Legacy, later this summer. The digital edition arrives on July 31, while CD, vinyl and cassette editions follow on September 18.

Alongside the announcement, the band unveiled “De Oppresso Liber,” the album's first single and the first preview of new material accompanying the group's twentieth anniversary.

Guitarist Zoltan Bathory said the album's title reflects the band's journey since its formation.

“Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests. It's a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles and everything we've experienced over the last two decades.”

Bathory also emphasized the role fans have played throughout the band's career.

“What makes that journey meaningful is that we didn't make it alone. We traveled this road alongside millions of fans around the world and somehow became part of each other's lives. That's an incredible thing to reflect on twenty years later.”

Vocalist Ivan Moody added that the record was not intended as a retrospective release.

“Legacy isn't about looking backward. Twenty years is a milestone, not a destination. We're incredibly proud of this record because it captures everything people love about FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH while also pointing toward where we're headed next.”

Formed in Las Vegas in 2005, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH released its debut album, The Way of the Fist, in 2007. Since then, the band has earned multiple gold and platinum certifications, placed several albums at the top of the U.S. charts and established itself as one of the most commercially successful American metal acts of the twenty-first century.

The release of Legacy will coincide with the band's twentieth-anniversary world tour.

The first leg will travel across North America between July and October with Cody Jinks and EVA UNDER FIRE as special guests. In early 2027, the band will continue the tour across Europe, performing arena shows alongside LAMB OF GOD and BLEED FROM WITHIN.

Produced by Live Nation, the North American run begins on July 20 at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, and concludes on October 23 at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia.
