An unfortunate news headline just moments ago in the music world, icon David Robert Jones, better known as David Bowie or Ziggy stardust has passed away at the age of 69 years being yet another victim of cancer.
The following was reported in their official accounts:
"David Bowie died today in peace surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month fight against cancer. Respect for the privacy of the family is requested in this hour of pain ”.
Also his son Duncan Jones on twitter confirmed the terrible fact:
