Bloodstock Open Air have revealed the first 27 bands for their 2027 edition, led by Mercyful Fate, Electric Callboy and Motionless In White. The festival will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire, from August 5–8, 2027, with approximately 100 additional acts still to be announced.
The first announcement was made while Bloodstock 2026 was underway. Alongside the three Ronnie James Dio Stage headliners, the organizers confirmed Madball, Gaerea, Kanonenfieber and Dethklok as the bands that will close the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Early Bird weekend tickets will be priced at £210. Online sales begin at 9:00 a.m. UK time on Monday, August 10, 2026, through See Tickets.
Coach packages will also go on sale on August 10. The instalment plan launches on Wednesday, August 12, while VIP and campervan tickets become available at 9:00 a.m. on the same date.
Wednesday Early Access will return for selected campsites. With approximately 100 additional bands still to be revealed, the 27 names in the first announcement represent only the opening section of the Bloodstock 2027 lineup.
