British band Bring Me the Horizon have confirmed the release of Count Your Blessings | Repented, a 20th-anniversary re-recording of their debut album, scheduled for July 10, 2026.
The project has been described by the band as a “reactivation” and “recontextualization” of the original 2006 material, which defined their early deathcore sound through tracks such as “Pray For Plagues”, “Slow Dance” and “A Lot Like Vegas”.
The new version was developed by vocalist Oli Sykes and guitarist Lee Malia alongside producer and mixer Buster Odeholm, with the goal of bringing the material into a modern context without altering its structural identity.
According to the band, the result is a version that is “sharper, heavier and more vital,” maintaining the original album’s identity while introducing a more contemporary production. Among the details, “Liquor & Lost Love” appears under its original working title, “Dragon Slaying.”
As part of the release, Bring Me the Horizon will perform the album in full on July 10 at the B.E.C. Arena in Manchester, during the event Outbreak Presents: Count Your Blessings | Repented, in collaboration with the Outbreak Festival.
The lineup will include Static Dress, Rolo Tomassi, Dying Wish, Heriot, Car Underwater and Still In Love, bringing together multiple generations of heavy music.
