American metal band Lamb of God will perform a special one-off concert on March 15 at the iconic Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia, just two days after the release of their new album Into Oblivion.
The show will offer fans a rare opportunity to see the band perform in a much smaller venue than usual, creating an unusually intimate experience. The evening will also feature support from Fit For An Autopsy.
Philadelphia holds a special place in the band’s history. The city helped propel Lamb of God’s rise and served as the setting for their 2005 platinum-certified live album Killadelphia, which captured the band’s explosive stage presence and cemented their reputation in the metal scene.
For this event, the band is using a ticket request system through Ticketmaster. Tickets cost $15 (fees included) and fans can submit requests through the platform. If a request is fulfilled, the fan’s credit card will be automatically charged and instructions on how to access the tickets will be sent. Requests must be submitted by March 11 at 10 p.m. Eastern Time.
To prevent ticket scalping, the band is using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange, meaning tickets will be non-transferable and can only be resold on Ticketmaster at the original price.
The Philadelphia performance is part of a nationwide celebration surrounding the album’s release. From March 13 to March 15, more than 140 independent record stores across the United States will host official listening parties for Into Oblivion. Fans attending these events will have access to exclusive merchandise, prizes and a limited indie-exclusive “Poltergeist” vinyl variant of the new album.
Pre-orders for the album are already available through the band’s official store, including limited-edition vinyl variants and a collectible CD version packaged with a companion zine featuring album art sketches, handwritten lyrics and previously unseen studio photos.
