Jehnny Beth releases video, 'Look At Me' feat. Mike Patton

Jehnny Beth y Mike Patton colaboran en el nuevo sencillo “Look At Me”, una canción que cuestiona la cultura digital y la forma en que las opiniones se presentan como verdades absolutas.

French singer Jehnny Beth, known for her work as the former frontwoman of Savages, has released a new single titled “Look At Me”, featuring Mike Patton, the legendary singer of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle.

The track explores the growing tendency for subjective opinions to be presented online as objective truths. Beth explained that the song addresses the culture of self-proclaimed “truth sellers” who offer advice on how to improve one’s life while ultimately seeking attention and influence.

“It’s about the modern sellers of truth, who share their opinion online on how to ‘better oneself’, giving an illusion of control — but all they really want is to be the centre of attention.”

The artist described the track as “a song in two parts,” which made Patton a natural collaborator due to his distinctive vocal style and experimental musical approach.sBeth has also acknowledged that Patton served as a major inspiration for her 2025 album You Heartbreaker, You, making this collaboration a significant creative meeting point.

Además, Beth ha señalado que Mike Patton fue una de las principales influencias creativas detrás de su álbum de 2025 You Heartbreaker, You, por lo que la colaboración representa una conexión artística natural entre ambos.

The single's release is accompanied by a music video inspired by Martin Scorsese's film *Taxi Driver*. In the video, Beth plays a vampiric character inspired by the protagonist portrayed by Robert De Niro.

“I represent De Niro’s character who embodies this lonely outcast who doesn’t have a place in the world. Mike is the preacher who changes my outlook on the world, and our two characters merge together towards the end.”

Following the release of “Look At Me”, Beth will embark on a European tour and will also support Deftones in Mexico City later this month.
