Finnish power metal band Sonata Arctica will celebrate three decades of music with an extensive Latin American tour in September and October 2026. The “30th Anniversary Tour” includes dates across Mexico, Central America and South America, reinforcing the band’s long-standing connection with the region.
The run begins on September 9 in Chihuahua and continues through Mexican cities including Torreón, Monterrey, Ciudad Obregón, Mexico City, Querétaro, León and Guadalajara. The tour then moves to Costa Rica before heading into South America.
Stops in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay are confirmed, along with two Brazilian shows in Limeira and São Paulo, where the tour concludes on October 3. The schedule spans more than a dozen performances.
Formed in 1995, Sonata Arctica became one of the defining acts of melodic European power metal. Their catalog blends speed, theatricality and strong melodic sensibilities, evolving across multiple eras of the band’s history.
