Sylosis announces new studio album, ‘The New Flesh’

SYLOSIS unveils The New Flesh, their seventh album, built with live performance in mind and fueled by renewed aggression and band unity.

SYLOSIS has officially revealed the first details of their highly anticipated seventh studio album, The New Flesh, set for release on February 20, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. According to the band, this album marks a moment of consolidation, channeling a new sense of purpose, intensity and creative focus shaped by years of relentless touring.

The announcement arrives alongside the release of the album’s title track, “The New Flesh” — a fierce and high-impact single that captures the band’s sharpened approach. After spending much of the past two years on the road, the band intentionally crafted the new songs with live energy at the forefront, resulting in compositions meant to erupt onstage with force and precision.

The current lineup —Josh Middleton (guitar/vocals), Ali Richardson (drums), Conor Marshall (guitar) and Ben Thomas (bass)— emphasizes that this album represents the strongest cohesion they’ve felt as a unit. For them, The New Flesh reflects a reinvigorated band identity built on aggression, technical clarity and a direct connection with their audience. “This is us solidifying the lineup and moving forward with a new sense of purpose,” they said.

Pre-orders for The New Flesh are now available, with multiple physical editions offered: acrylic CD, solid red vinyl, sky-blue vinyl with black splatter (NB/band variant), and a red-and-sky-blue coronet vinyl exclusive to the band. With this launch, SYLOSIS sets the stage for a monumental 2026 filled with new music and powerful live performances.
