The Funeral Portraithave released the official video for their new single‘Holy Water’, which features Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody. The track is taken from the band's latest album, ‘Greetings From Suffocate City’, released in September 2024 via Better Noise Music.
The video for ‘Holy Water’ is the work of director Michael Lombardi of Better Noise Films and can be watched below.
“We filmed Ivan Moody deep in the desert of Prescott, Arizona, at the top of a 1,000-foot canyon,” says Lombardi. “Then we had to shoot The Funeral Portrait on a day off between shows in Philadelphia and New York. This posed a challenge to finding the epic, gothic-style location I needed for the church. After scouting several locations, I ended up finding a phenomenal old, abandoned church in the Poconos, Pennsylvania.”
“Filming the music video for ‘Holy Water’ was an absolutely incredible experience,” says singer Lee Jennings. “The production was next-level—every detail, every shot, was simply unreal. Michael Lombardi brought a vision that exceeded all our expectations, making it a total cinematic experience. And to have Ivan Moody as part of it? That was an extraordinary achievement. His energy and presence took everything to a whole new level. We can’t wait for everyone to see what we created—it’s dark, intense, and truly special.”
