Zola Jesus will officially return to Mexico after eight years away from the country. The acclaimed darkwave and experimental artist will perform on August 23, 2026 at Foro Indie Rocks in Mexico City with a special voice-and-piano format.
Known for blending darkwave, industrial textures, ambient electronics and emotionally charged songwriting, Nika Roza Danilova, the artist behind Zola Jesus, has developed a distinctive artistic identity that has earned her a dedicated global following.
This upcoming performance will present her music through a much more stripped-down and intimate approach, focusing on piano arrangements and vocal intensity rather than the dense electronic production commonly associated with her live shows.
