DEF WITH TWO beast unleashed in Astros Tent

94

Def with Two, the band with 3 decades of history, icon of rap combined with metal and that rose to fame for its participation in the documentary film “El día de la bestia” con el tema del mismo nombre, regresó a nuestro país presentando su nueva placa “#Trenden_distopic”, en un evento que además del regreso de los ibéricos, sirvió para festejar la nueva campaña de Turibus denominada “Turirock”, que ofrecerá regreso seguro al final de los conciertos en sus ya conocidas y cómodas unidades.

The party in the astros tent would begin with the national band Vulva, who with all their irreverence and waste of simple humor with everything and chicken costume included lit the night with their tunes. Oh the the and its crudest and even urban sound considerably lowered people's spirits, and finally one more group, Weichafe; It would leave the stage warm and ready for the star dish.

Dressed in phosphorescent garments that even cover their faces, strange characters take the stage. The light shines on their suits and refracts that deep green-yellow hue, until they reveal themselves as the members of Def with Two quienes al ritmo pegajoso de “Esto es el Def” ponen a la gente a brincar con emoción. “Somos Def with Two and we will give everything on stage, it doesn't matter if here gives us a fucking heart attack” comenta el vocalista principal antes de “Sigo siendo heterosexual”, which comically reflects the fixation by the biceps -and a little more- of a confused character; and in “Que no te cojan” the double meaning is present for more than obvious reasons.

“Mundo chungo” and “El coche no” they bring the show down into a more hip hop bump that slows down the revs until with “Chaleco reflejante” and the protest of wanting to get uniformed to mark us again opens the slam with many fans wearing a garment of these characteristics. “Este mundo es para ustedes, es momento de darles su lugar” dedicates Strawberry el mensaje a las mujeres presentes con “Agrupación de mujeres violentas”, para que luego “Pánico a una muerte ridícula” set the rhythm with the vibrating strings of the veteran's bass J Andalus that stands out with her carmine red hair.

The slam is revived with “Ultramemia” and it is impressive to see the 3 singers who, despite the fact that the night is moving on and none of them is already a youngster, do not stop jumping and moving from side to side without brake. Samuel Barranco It is the most versatile and the one that runs across the stage as deranged at the speed of a brutal theme as it is “España es idiota”, or putting a hard voice on topics like “Demasiado Humano”, “Solo mía”, and the slaughter in the hamburger chain that is related in “La cacería”. Con “Mineros locos” and “Armas pal pueblo” Then an aggressive and brutal closure would come with punches and attempts at anger included that reflect how powerful the music of the Spanish is, who come down from the stage.

“Hijos de puta”, followed by clapping hands is the chorus with which people harangue the band to return to the stage, and they seem to be happy to do so. What comes next is a block with songs of pure phrasing where the 3 vocalists show off their best raps. Sagan Ummo always masked is of course the one that attracts the most attention and the string of themes composed by “Coprofagia”, “Dile que no” and “Los reyes son los padres” It is a feast for hip-hop lovers. The electric instruments return and the night seems to have no end: Certainly few veteran bands can boast coming and standing for more than 2 hours with as much energy as Def with Two.

“Acción mutante” and “Trabajando para dios” are themes that are closing the night and to say goodbye to the Def. But Strawberry he does not want his demons (as he affectionately calls all his followers) to be hungry for more, and a cover of Baron Red en la canción “Resistiré” es ejecutado buscando poner de cabeza Carpa Astros. A pesar de ser un tema bestial la avanzada hora, el cansancio y el bajón de ánimos físicamente hablando por el set rapero merman lo que debió ser una masacrante melodía con el ánimo como al principio del show. Los cantantes se despiden respondiendo la arenga de “Hijos de puta…¡Def con Dos!” with much gratitude, as people leave the place, many of them with the calm of knowing that a peaceful truck is waiting to take them home safe and sound.

Un show lleno de energía y buen humor, dos de las más grandes características del grupo español. La idea del Turirock es muy buena, aporta un ingrediente extra a la experiencia y ojalá se continúe.
