KISS spent US $200 million on their digital avatars

At a recent autograph signing with fans, Gene Simmons of KISS states that the digital avatars who intend to continue the band's legacy after his retirement will continue to improve and have invested around 200 million dollars in the show

"What did those avatars look like when you first saw them? They're going to get better, those animated things. There's a lot of things being planned, even beyond my understanding. But they're spending, oh, about 200 million [dollars] to take going to the next level."

Avatars are created by the Swedish company Industrial Light & Magic, who are also responsible for the show 'ABBA Voyage', which is presented at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, England.

For now, KISS has not announced what the specific plans are for their avatars; However, it is known that Thierry Coup a former director of Universal is the creative director.
