There are concerts in which the old metal guard gathers to testify to the visit of cult bands from the world scene. This is the case of Immolation, who with more than three decades of existence have positioned themselves as an iconic band of the genre.

Even being a Sunday, the entrance to the forum is very good and the answer shows that it does not matter the next day you have to work: there are appointments with the character of the inevitable in the world of metal. After the performance of the nationals Thrashock, who are a regular and well-known band from the metal scene in Mexico, the time has come to listen to the Americans of Crematorium. Its bulky vocalist is undoubtedly the one who steals the entire stage with his presence and his humor when trying to talk to people and seeing that nobody understands him to ask his bassist to say everything in Spanish. Crematorium It has a brutal, vomiting guttural sound that is widely applauded by people, in the same way as the jokes of its singer about his prominent abdomen that he claims is full of beer. After about twenty minutes of performance and with impeccable punctuality with what was announced in the program, the forum begins to fill with smoke to receive the star band who, by the way, did not stop applauding and observing from the top of the venue all the presentation of Crematorium.

Then appears  Immolation on stage with “Destructive Currents”, and as the name says it immediately feels a heavy environment of metal destroying eardrums. The sound and lights are exquisite throughout the presentation and that is why we can enjoy mazasos like “Kingdom of Conspiracy”, “Father, You’re Not a Father” and "The Distorting Light” de una manera excelsa. El slam of course it is present in the center of the venue with themes like “Swarm of Terror” and “Into Everlasting Fire”, while at the top also people shake their necks beer in hand to the rhythm of “Fostering the Divide”, “World Agony” and “A Spectacle of Lies”.

“Vamos hacia atrás, en especifíco a nuestro disco Failures For Gods. Hoy es domingo así que adoptaremos este tema como nuestro tema dominical” he announces with his imposing presence Ross Dolan before “No Jesus, No Beast”. The truth is that outside of this mention, Immolation es un grupo de pocas palabras e interacción, más allá del clásico decir lo contentos que están de estar aquí o anunciar que tocaran un tema de la vieja escuela. Lo suyo es ir de tema en tema cimbrando las paredes del recinto con canciones aplastantes como “Close to a World Below“, “Nailed to Gold” and “Lower”. People don't stop chanting the name of the band and this is even recorded by the guitarist's cell phone Robert Vigna, undoubtedly the most extroverted member in his gestures and attitudes of the quartet, and the evening continues with “What They Bring”.

Immolation So he announces that this is his last song and that they want to see the place become crazy, and dedicating the song to Crematorium with whom they shared the night, the theme “Immolation” es una verdadera masacre en la pista con golpes, empujones y gente volando en las catapultas humanas hacia el foso frente al escenario ¡Puro poder! Por fortuna eso de que era el último tema es una completa mentira, y el aullido de los chacales se hace presente con “When the Jackals Come“, que es otra descarga de adrenalina. Immolation says goodbye but the insistence of the people is a lot, so the New Yorkers return to the stage to lock the night with a couple of other topics: “Majesty and Decay” and “Dawn of Possession”, saying goodbye now if definitely. The lights come on and there are sweaty and beaten people everywhere, and next to me a guy is bleeding from a blow to the eyebrow; worthy testimony of the great chair of death metal that we just lived through.

El show de Immolation sin duda fue un agasajo para los amantes del Death Metal en su forma más pura, con una poderosa presentación a la cual no se le puede poner un solo pero.
