BEARTOOTH announce new studio album Pure Ecstasy

BEARTOOTH confirmed the release of Pure Ecstasy, their upcoming studio album produced alongside Jordan Fish and Misha Mansoor.

Beartooth have officially confirmed the release of Pure Ecstasy, their upcoming studio album scheduled for August 28, 2026. The record will mark the band’s first full-length release through Fearless Records and arrives alongside a new creative stage for the group led by Caleb Shomo.

As the first major preview of the album, the band unveiled the title track “Pure Ecstasy”, a song packed with crushing riffs, aggressive breakdowns and massive melodies that continue expanding Beartooth’s modern sound. The track also serves as the second official single from the album following the release of “Free” earlier this year.

The song was developed alongside Misha Mansoor, guitarist of Periphery, while the final production process involved Jordan Fish, widely recognized for his recent work with Bring Me The Horizon. The result is a track blending modern metalcore, heavy grooves and an extremely polished production focused equally on melody and aggression.

Lyrically, “Pure Ecstasy” explores the conflict between personal destruction and emotional growth, a recurring theme throughout Beartooth’s creative identity. According to Caleb Shomo, the song was conceived as a direct statement of energy and intensity to open the album: “Song one is always a crucial part of an album to me. It’s gotta lock you into the vibe out of the gate. ‘Pure Ecstasy’ was birthed in a studio with Misha Mansoor, ridiculous loudspeakers, and the dumbest heaviest chugs we could chug.”

The official video reinforces the chaotic atmosphere of the song, featuring Shomo digging what appears to be an improvised grave while the rest of the band performs inside an aggressive and tension-filled environment.

In addition to contributions from Mansoor and Fish, the album also includes songwriting collaborations with Skyler Accord, known for his work with Issues, Twenty One Pilots and Bilmuri. The album was recorded alongside the band’s current lineup featuring Oshie Bichar, Zach Huston, Will Deely and Connor Denis.
