The ex-bassist of Black Veil Brides, Ashley Purdy, who left the gang in November 2019, has been accused by various women of various crimes, including having sex with minors - and providing them with drugs and alcohol -, rape and physical and verbal abuse.
The accusations began on June 20 through a Twitter user named Pearl Carolina, who assures that he had contact with Purdy since February and visited him at his home in March where he was physically and mentally abused, only to be later sexually abused while intoxicated.
After the statements, dozens of fans began to upload their own stories through social networks, calling him "an abuser, a fraud and a sex addict."

For his part, the bassist responded to the accusations through his official Twitter account, assuring that everything is false and that he never had contact with any minor woman during the band's tours.
This morning, Black Veil Brides reacted to the situation, "We have been informed of the allegations against a former gang member and we want to make it clear that we are not going to forgive the type of horrendous behavior that is described. We are convinced to create a safe environment for our fans and move towards a culture where abuse of any kind is not tolerated. ”
