Plastic Tree have confirmed the details of their 2027 Latin American return. The Japanese band will play two concerts on their Replay LATAM Tour 2027: March 26 at Teatro Cousiño in Santiago, Chile, followed by March 28 at Foro 1869 in Mexico City. Ticket sales are scheduled to begin October 3 through RIT Store.
The first promotional image for the tour had revealed only the Chile and Mexico dates, without cities or venues. New individual posters for each country now complete those details: the Chilean show will take place at Teatro Cousiño, while the Mexican concert will be held at Foro 1869 in Mexico City. RIT Store also identifies the two venues as being located in Santiago and Mexico City, respectively.
The band notes that the shows will take place during the 30th anniversary year of its major-label debut, which came in June 1997 with “Wareta Mado” (割れた窓), and presents the run as its return to international stages after several years without overseas performances.
The current lineup remains Ryutaro Arimura on vocals and guitar, Akira Nakayama on guitar, Tadashi Hasegawa on bass and Kenken Sato on drums. Arimura and Hasegawa formed Plastic Tree in December 1993, with the band's major-label debut following four years later. Since then, its catalog has moved through different areas of Japanese rock, retaining its connection to visual kei while also incorporating alternative guitar music and more melodic songwriting.
